THE SCOTT FAMILY:
The first experience was a daytime sighting in the summer of 2008 in N.E. WA. when a Sasquatch attempted to cross in front of Julie's car while she was driving. It was there one minute, and gone the next. No explanation_weird.
Several weeks later, late one night when the moon was full in the narrow valley down and to the west of the house, Wayne heard a loud wood knock ,and a couple of minutes later while looking to the left of the valley up a small hill,saw a dark silhouette of a human-like figure dive into tall grass when they apparently saw Wayne looking at them. At that time, he had no idea what or who that was.
When the Scott Family moved to the coast of Washington a few months later, nothing could have prepared them for what they encountered. Journey with them as they experience strange sounds and vocalizations in the forests around their home, find dozens of large footprints, have overwhelming feelings of being watched both night and day, smell unusual mucky, skunky odors, and read as their once brave dogs start acting whiny and terrified..
Enjoy the excitement , and the fear, as they realize they have Bigfoot on their property, and have interactions with them by responding to rock-clacking, hand-clapping and wood-knocking only to get responses back. Walk with the family as they learn the do's and dont's of co-existing with the forest people.
After six months, the family turned their rental home over to a group of Bigfoot investigators to continue contact. When the Scott's moved to Oregon for two years, much to their surprise and excitement, they have many encounters with the bigguys there also. 1. "Then we heard a sound that we’ve never heard before. It was a very loud scream, approximately 30 feet from where we were standing. The scream was a cross between a woman, a cougar, and an ape, followed by four distinctive deep primate-type guttural sounds."
2." Later that evening, between 9:00 and 10:00 pm, while the girls were on the balcony, they again hear bipedal walking on the ridge of the hill behind the house. They searched with a flashlight back and forth to see if they could see anything. They spotted two amber-colored eyes peeking out from behind a tree located about eight feet from the part of the driveway that is between the house and the back woods. The flashlight kept dimming on and off. "
3. "Elizabeth and Rachel decide to take a walk in the backyard at night. They pass the goat shed, and start walking toward the gate at the far end of the backyard from the house. All of a sudden, they have to stop because it’s like they “hit a wall” and can’t go any farther. Rachel has a really strong kind of surreal feeling and she hears words in her mind that say, “That’s close enough. Don’t come any closer.” They turn around, and walk back toward the house. They have that “feeling” of being watched."
4." The camera was mysteriously and suddenly turned off one day and turned back on three days later...the food being gone. The camera actually records the time, date and this kind of information. There were no people around in the area of the food station. Did the Bigfoot do this?"

"As soon as I began to turn I saw over in the bushes behind the house where the forest begins, about 25 feet away, a Bigfoot sitting down with his head turning towards me slowly as I also was turning. He had apparently had his hairy head turned away from me the whole time I had been standing out there (on the porch) , to prevent me from seeing him. But what helped to expose him besides his large, dark hairy head slightly showing in the porch light, was when he began to look directly at me with a “not - friendly - at - all look.”

*Updates*
The events in "VISITS FROM THE FOREST PEOPLE" took place from June 2008 to October 2010. The Scott Family returned to the same area in N.E. WA. where they lived before. Since November 2010 to present (March 2012), they have experienced the following events at their rural home:Note: To help some to understand the experiences in the book, and the following experiences, it really needs to be emphasized that we do live in a rural area, next to a water source, and up against forest that goes on up many miles into Canada, with only a couple of folks in between, who are miles away.

* After discovering one footprint in the snow in the middle of the long driveway, a trail of 8 - 10 large toed footprints were then seen in the snow trailing off of the driveway. The trail of footprints abruptly stopped near horse prints and snowmobile tracks.* Walking down a 500 foot steep incline near the house, my husband saw about 50 footprints in the snow which started a ways down the incline, and went to the the creek bottom. These prints started out of nowhere (!).
While taking the first picture of some of the footprints, a whistling - screaming frantic South American or African - like bird went on for about 3 seconds. Looking around though, he saw no evidence of a bird or anything.
* Hear bird-"like" whistles directed at us on several occasions as we step outside the house.
*Two footprints at night, in the snow, next to the small front porch with no other prints coming or going in the snow. Appeared to be same size feet as the ones on the incline mentioned aboue. ( Six year old granddaughter discovered this )
* My husband looking out the back door towards the forest, sees looking directly at him standing among the evergreen trees, whitish eyeshine (starlike color). He saw an outline of a head that was at approximately 9 feet in height, and he also saw the upper part of the body . The bigfoot, as he gives my husband a look, turns and walks off.
* Heard Sasquatch howling in the early morning hours on 2 different occasions. A unique howl Sasquatch has.
*My husband steps out of the front door late at night, and instantly smells "that" foul odor filling the air like a thick wall. At that moment, he is growled at from out in the near darkness. Bears were in hibernation at the time,
* At night saw reddish eyeshine and body outline over at tree line a ways in front of the house.
* My husband heard a tree knock in immediate response to his talking to possible Sasquatch out in the forest around the house. This knocking sounded like a rock on a tree rather than tree branch on tree.
*Another time, my husband went outside the house at night, talking to any possible nearby forest people . Within the hour he heard 2 verbal responses, close by.
* Heard loud tree knock behind the house down and across the creek during the daytime, exactly at the moment when my husband and I began shoveling snow in the driveway.
* For 8 nights single dime - sized rocks, one each night, have been left in the middle of the door mat which is in the middle of the small front porch. One was left between the mat and the door, again, lined up in the center of the porch / door.
*For 7 days ! ( in the daylight ) same sized rocks, one each day, left on the porch, same place in the middle of the door mat. One day 2 rocks were left, making a total of 15 rocks. Note: More rocks are being left, so we will just keep an updated number posted immediately below.
Present # of rocks left for us is 46
Note: The following was even more unusual so we are posting it in part.
Rocks # 28 and 29 appeared in late morning daylight on the porch and walkway, while two dogs were present next to the porch, being in the yard. Both rocks were placed on the concrete in a way that a triangle on each rock was facing upwards, causing the triangles to be obvious to view.
Both were placed exactly on what could be an invisible line that ran through the middle of the porch and front door, one rock being on the porch, the other on the walkway right at the bottom of the first step of the porch. The longest point of each triangle was pointing along that invisible line towards the middle of the front door.
#30 was found in our car shortly after the above porch rock finds, in the middle of one of the back bucket seats, the seat that Rachel our adult daughter had just been in when she came to visit two evenings before.
* Living room window on side of the forest was gently hit and shaken approximately 1/2 dozen times.
*My husband steps outside at night and immediately hears 2 soft sounding tree knocks_wood on wood.
